How to use the map
Use this map to lay out your disc golf course.
Click on the map to add a tee marker and then a basket marker. A line will be drawn between each pair of points.
You can use the Pan/Zoom controls to move anywhere in the world without adding a marker.
You can click and drag without adding a marker.
You can change the map type without adding a marker.
You can reposition markers for the most recent hole by clicking and dragging either the tee number or basket icon.
If you need to go back to an earlier hole, refresh your browser and start over.
Below are some tools to help you with the layout if you know hole distances or GPS coordinates for tees and basket positions.
To save the result as a kml file for use in Google Earth or Google Maps, click on the
Create kml file button and fill in the form that will appear in this area.
After clicking on the
Submit button, another page will appear with a link to the kml file. Clicking on the link will open the file in Google Earth if you have it installed.
Otherwise, it will just display the text of the file. The url that appears in the address bar of your browser can be copied and pasted into Google Maps to display the map in your browser.
You can also email the link for use by others.
